Cancellation & Refund Policy

Welcome to Rahat Charitable Trust (accessible via https://rahatct.in and our official Mobile Application). We deeply appreciate your monthly membership contribution and support toward our social welfare initiatives, including Beti Vivah Sahyog, Emergency Financial Support, and Educational Aid.

As a charitable organization, we maintain transparency in all financial operations. Please read our policy regarding cancellations and refunds carefully before setting up your monthly contribution.

1. Nature of Contributions (Donations)

All financial contributions made to Rahat Charitable Trust—including the monthly membership fee of ₹50 or any higher voluntary contributions—are treated as charitable donations. Since these funds are utilized immediately to provide aid to underprivileged families and emergent socio-economic causes, contributions are generally non-refundable.

2. Monthly Membership Cancellation

We respect your choice and control over your finances. If you wish to cancel or pause your monthly support program:

• You can stop or cancel your recurring monthly membership at any time directly through your user dashboard inside the webapp/website.
• Alternatively, you can request termination by emailing us or messaging our helpline.
• Once cancelled, no subsequent payments will be charged to your account. However, contributions made during past months cannot be requested for a refund.

3. Exceptional Refund Circumstances

Under specific technical or operational errors, Rahat Charitable Trust will review and process a refund:

• Technical Errors & Duplicate Deductions: If due to a server error, payment gateway failure, or lag, your account is charged twice for a single month's subscription, the duplicate amount will be refunded completely.
• Unauthorized Transactions: In the event of documented fraudulent use of your bank account/card/UPI by third parties, we will coordinate with your bank and reverse the transaction upon due diligence.

4. Refund Request Process

If you encounter an issue that qualifies for an exceptional refund (as per Section 3), please submit a claim within 7 days from the date of the transaction:

• Send an email to: rctindia@gmail.com
• Provide your Registered Name, Registered Mobile Number, Member ID, Transaction ID, Payment Date, and an attached screenshot of the debit notification.

5. Processing Timeline

Our internal auditing team will verify the technical discrepancy within 3 to 5 business days. Once validated, approved refunds are credited back to the original source of payment (Bank Account, Card, or UPI wallet). The refund settlement may take 5 to 7 working days to reflect in your account depending on banking guidelines.
